We supply tailor-made projects, being unique in their design and development. Our scope ranges from craft distilleries or specific process areas, to industrial turnkey plants (EPC). As an added value, Tomsa Destil has executed multiple projects around the world, offering a wide know-how for the production of all types of distillates, some more known at a general level such as Whisky, Rum, Vodka and Gin, others more specific such as Lao Khao from Thailand or Cachaça from Brazil, or even distillates with Denomination of Origin such as Cognac and Tequila.

Yes, the reality is that most distillate producers use raw materials of similar origin, however, this is not a problem when obtaining different products since there are multiple factors present during production that can generate unique profiles to the distillate.
Tomsa Destil provides technology that is flexible enough to provide different profiles according to the specifications desired by the customer. Likewise, infinite variations can be obtained through blending.
Let’s start from the point that the best distillate is the one that most closely resembles the quality standard desired by the brand. Therefore, when comparing an artisanal process versus a more contemporary one, it can be stated today that both processes are capable of obtaining very high quality products, basing the choice of process on the desired specifications for the product and the company’s corporate strategy.
Yes, there are several distillates that allow greater flexibility in the use of raw materials, such as Gin and Vodka. However, there are also some distillates that are conditioned by specific regulations and standards that restrict any type of flexibility when selecting any factor that may alter the product’s profile; an example of these distillates are those with denomination of origin such as Tequila, Cognac, Mezcal, among others.
Yes, indeed, with Tomsa Destil’s technology it is possible to produce different qualities in the same distillery. A plant can be designed to produce heavy alcohol, while producing superfine alcohol or non demethalized alcohol. The options are wide depending on how the supply design is combined.
Yes, many of Tomsa Destil’s customers own factories and industrial facilities where they already have auxiliary services that can be used by a “new distillery” that would be coupled as a sub-facility. In other words, resources, services and expenses can be shared with existing and new process sections.
